FLAMAGAS was born in 1959 when we started to manufacture and market metal lighters under the brand FLAMINAIRE. Since its foundation, FLAMAGAS became the first company to offer this type of lighter to the consumer. The FLAMINAIRE became the reference lighter in the 1960's. In 1971 Clipper was born, the world's first plastic lighter. Since then, Clipper has spread across the world, becoming the iconic fashion lighter among smokers. CLIPPER is the brand of lighters of FLAMAGAS, present around the world.
