SEAQUAL INITIATIVE is a unique collaborative community formed by NGOs, cleanup programs, local communities, authorities, activists, and more, who fight against plastic pollution. Our partners collect plastic from beaches, oceans, and rivers, and SEAQUAL INITIATIVE recycles it to transform PET into a new sustainable textile solution, called SEAQUAL® YARN. This yarn is made up of 10% marine plastic waste and 90% post-consumer PET from land sources. Our network of manufacturers and brands purchases the yarn to create beautiful products and offer their customers a sustainable alternative with the same high quality and durability as virgin polyester.
