Transmesa and its subsidiary, T A P TUBOS DE ACERO DE PRECISION SL, specialise in the manufacturing of precision cold-drawn tubes and carbon and low-alloy steel tubular sections. The company has one subsidiary and exports 80% of its production. It became part of the Slovakian group, Železiarne Podbrezová AS (www.steeltube.sk) in July 2008. The group manufactures steel blooms and billets, hot-rolled seamless tubes, cold-drawn precision tubes, tubular fittings and tube cuts and bends.
